Hi Everyone,

Guess the reason I don't remember Sams' is since I went to 127 we stopped in Jacks on the corner of White Plains and Archer on the Side of Murray's and Pioner. There was another Candy store that we stopped in on the Parkchester Side of White Plains and Archer. As you went into Parkchester via Archer, there was a Kosher Butcher on the the Corner. Dr Simms office was above the butcher. The candy store was just past it just before the garage.

I guess I used Sams before it was Sams when Harry and his wife owned it.

Talk about the insensitivity of kids...Larry Cole used to "goose-step" into Sam's, giving the Nazi salute when he saw Sam inside, and would demand "Vere are your papers, schweinhunt!!??" Like an idiot, I and whoever I was, with would think this hilarious without any real consideration of what the man had been through.
