Passing of Al Abbamonte

I am sorry to forward the sad news that Al Abbamonte passed on last week at age 63..
Al was also known as “Fredie Pizza”, a name he earned at the famous Vinnie’s Pizza parlor on Archer St.
He played on the Archer Rams, on a very good defensive line..
After service in the Navy Al married Pat Jacob and lived on 1574 Beach Avenue. He worked with Andy Stack at Met Life Insurance who hired him and was promoted to Regional VP by Andy in a successful career. He was a nice guy.I am sure many of you knew him and Pat Jacob.
