Passing of Pat Werner

Postby Eddie Acunzo » Wed Jan 20, 2010 3:57 am

Folks,

FYI

Earlier this week Pat Werner passed away. He was a long-time resident of Stratton Park during the 50s-70s, husband of Florence (Florie), and father of Pam (St. Anthony's class of 1964) and Kenny (class of 1960). The Werners lived at 1576 Taylor, and Pat was a NYC career bus driver. He was very active in the parish as a little league coach, Church Deacon, woodworking hobby shop vice president, and in many other capacities. Anybody who knew him will miss him dearly and will remember him fondly regardless of the passage of time.

Rest in Peace, Pat.

Good Luck on your next joint project, Dad and Pat.

The Kellys & Werners have been related for more than 40 years. Mr. Werner was a good man and he will be missed.

The Family of Robert and Darlene Abbate of Tolland CT would like to send their condolences to the families of the Werners and Kelly's for the passing of Pat Werner. Would someone be kind enough to provide me an address where I may send a mass card and a note to florence. I have such good memories of them as both Flori and Helen and their families were great neighbors and friends of my mom and Dad. I can be reached by email at rabbate@travelers.com or robertabbate@sbcglobal.net.

Thank you!
rgds,
Rob Abbate
