I was looking at the pic's on page 13 and I saw the picture of george V. with the bandage on.It brought back one horrible memory.If I remember correctly, he ripped off the tip of his finger up by the handball courts on a hole in the fence when his ring got caught as he was running during a game we were playing. I wouldn't wear rings until I was in my thirtys.

Yeah, your memory serves correct Mike, George lost his finger on the fence. The pictures of the fence show the exact location that happened. I wrote a little account of what happened in another post under another topic, probably in the PS 102 playground one. George now lives in Massachusetts, after a stint in the US Navy. I'll let him know you were asking about him!!
