I have just found out sad news concerning Dick Craig, one of Archer Street's memorable residents (Actually lived on Beach Avenue).

He has been admitted today to Calvary Hospital (Hospice) in the Bronx with Cancer, which has metastasized to various parts of his body.

Please take a moment to say a prayer(s) for One Of THE GOOD GUYS from Stratton Park.

Regards,

John Kelly

Folks

I spoke with Dick's niece this afernoon and she informed me that they had just got word that Dick passed away.

I do not have any details about a wake and the funeral. I gave her my phone number and asked her to keep me advised.

Say a prayer for this wonderful man, who provided many of us with laughter and happiness.

John Kelly and John T

I'm sure I speak for alot of the old neighborhood in offering our prayers and condolences to Richard Craig's family. Dickie as we all know was truly one of a kind. He entertained us for hours on end with some of the funniest stories.

Blitz has now joined Smokey at the new "Archer Street".

God Bless You Dickie.
