Hot Beans and Butter

Who remembers how the game "Hot Beans and Butter" was played? What were the rules, how did you win?

The rules were simple......we used to play it around the little playground...Base(where you were safe) was the bottom of the ramp to the handball courts...Someone hid a belt, everyone went looking for it after the person hiding it finished hiding it and yelled : Hot Beans & Butter..Then we went searching...whoever found it could hit anyone/eveyrone as many times as he wanted until they reached the base.....I remember getting chased around and chasing kids around the parky house as well as giving and getting huge welts with the buckles...man were we ever sadistic as well as stupid.....
